My name is Maddy Pelissero. I am currently studying at Savannah College of Art and Design as a Graphic Design major. My journey getting here was a long one.
I was born in China. My parents adopted me at one. Figuring out how to connect to and define my cultural heritage has been a large part of what I explore with my art. I take much inspiration from Asian art and culture and mix it with who I am.
I design because communication is one of the most important aspects of any relationship and how you get through the day. It is my job as a designer to make the message understandable to all and beautiful!
Besides graphic design, I enjoy drawing, crocheting, paper making, and baking. Whenever I feel creatively sapped or need a recharge, you can find me covered in flour and sugar in the kitchen.
